REST was created in 2004 to provide crisis intervention and follow-up services to families with children impacted by domestic violence.
The REST Team offers support to Corona Police Department officers who respond to domestic violence calls. REST partners include: the Corona Police Department, Corona-Norco Unified School District, Riverside County Child Protective Services, the Trauma Intervention Program and UNITY (United Neighbors Involved in Today’s Youth).
Puppets, dramatic role play, and creative art activities are used to open avenues of communication as part of ADV’s Children’s Program.
