ADV offers regularly scheduled individual paraprofessional counseling and educational support groups which focus on a variety of topics relevant to the needs of domestic violence victims including: financial planning, self-esteem, dynamics of domestic violence, effects of DV on children, AIDS, power/control, assertiveness, positive parenting, partner rape, developing healthy relationships, and parenting skills.
ADV stepped into the field of providing fee-based therapy to individuals and families when it opened the Corona Counseling Connection in 2006.
ADV now offers clinically-based counseling for individuals, couples and children. Psychotherapists treat a full range of mental and emotional disorders. There is a fee for services based on a client’s ability to pay.
